Thanks to the fast moving internet, the dream has now become a reality! –  We are able to provide a website that the average computer confident client can update themselves.

We do this using what we call website content management systems (CMS’s in short!) which are the online software system that makes it all happen.  They incorporate a what you see is what you get editor or WYSIWYG Editor.   It’s a bit like using your favourite word processor, but on a web page.

The additional up front investment compared to a standard web site will soon pay for itself as there will be fewer phone calls to APWD asking us to change something that’s just gone out of date!

One useful feature of these sites is that you can tell pages when to switch on and switch off, so there won’t be out of date pages anywhere – which means that your site visitors will remain captivated by your up to date website.    

Content Management Systems now include blogs, rss feeds, shops, media players and a plethora of state of the art features that will bring your company or organisation well  and truly into the 21st Century.
